What we cut for ATM, cash-handling, and smart-safe programs

A fintech program is usually a mix of heavier structural parts and lighter customer-facing ones, both off the same two cells:

  • ATM cabinet shells and chassis. Structural chassis and shell panels sized to the customer’s cabinet design, ready for hardware insertion downstream.
  • Cash-handling cabinet shells. Deposit and recycler housing panels for cash-handling equipment, cut to the mechanism envelope on the print.
  • Smart-safe enclosure blanks. Flat blanks for smart-safe enclosures, cut to the customer’s print in the gauge and material the design calls for.
  • EMV payment terminal sub-assemblies. Housings and internal panels for card-reader terminals, sized for a countertop or kiosk-mounted footprint.
  • Currency cassette and note-acceptor housings. Precision sub-chassis for cash-handling internals where hole position affects mechanism fit.
  • ATM top-hat and access-panel structures. Upper-housing and service-access panels that carry branding and signage cutouts.
  • Kiosk base frames. Structural tube frames cut on the five-axis tube cell for freestanding kiosk and ATM pedestals.

Which materials hold up for security-rated enclosures?

Security-rated fintech enclosures run in carbon and stainless steel in stock gauges — carbon steel plate up to 12 mm and stainless steel 304/316/430 up to 6 mm on our 3 kW fiber cell. We do not run armor plate (RHA) or other exotic security alloys; if a print calls for one, we will tell you plainly rather than force a material we don’t stock. Cosmetic shells and EMV housings more often use cold-rolled steel up to 6 mm or aluminum up to 5 mm, where a lighter customer-facing part matters more than gauge.

What tolerance do fintech chassis parts need to hold?

Position tolerance is ±0.05 mm at the flat-sheet cell standard, with ±0.025 mm repeatability on critical features — bezel cutouts, lock-body clearances, card-reader slots — verified at first-article inspection on every production order. Do the parts we cut support a UL Listed assembly file?

Yes. We are a UL-listed shop running under ISO 9001:2015, and every production order ships with the material certs, lot traceability through our MIE Trak Pro ERP, and the first-article inspection report a listed assembly file needs. The UL Listing on a finished ATM, safe, or terminal is established and held by the customer who builds and certifies the product — we do not hold or claim that listing for the parts we cut, and we will not imply otherwise on a quote.

Volumes, lead times, and revision control

Flat-sheet chassis parts run 5–10 business days in production with a 48–72 hour prototype turn; tube-cut base frames run 7–14 business days with a 5-day prototype turn. Production volumes span 1 to 50,000 units per release, and every order carries revision control and lot traceability through our MIE Trak Pro ERP, so a mid-program design change doesn’t break the paper trail a listed assembly needs.

Is this fabricated domestically?

Yes. Every part on this page is cut at our Las Vegas facility, with a second facility in Henderson about 15 minutes away — all fabrication happens inside the United States, which is the domestic-content question most ATM and cash-handling programs ask before qualifying a vendor. We do not offshore any step of the cutting process, and material lot traceability through our MIE Trak Pro ERP documents where the steel came from and when it was cut, part of the record a listed assembly file keeps on file.

Where this cell stops and the sister shop starts

We cut flat and tube components to print — chassis, cabinet shells, and enclosure blanks. We do not form, weld, install hardware, assemble the finished unit, or engineer, certify, or warranty the device; forming, welding, hardware insertion, and final assembly move to our co-located sister shop, Nevatronix Sheet Metal. That division is why an ATM or safe manufacturer can hand us the cutting scope without handing over the listing.

No. We cut the flat and tube components to your print — chassis, cabinet shells, and enclosure blanks. Forming, welding, hardware insertion, and final assembly are handled by our co-located sister shop, Nevatronix Sheet Metal; we do not engineer, install, or warranty the finished device.
What documentation ships with a fintech production order?
Every production order ships with a first-article inspection report, and material certifications are available on request. Lot traceability runs through our MIE Trak Pro ERP, so a part or a revision traces back to its material lot and production run.
