Defense work is a small but high-margin part of our mix, anchored by Nellis-area programs and a tier-2 supply relationship with our parent Nevatronix’s defense customers. The documentation discipline this segment requires aligns with what our gaming-and-fintech customer base already expects from us.

Frequently asked questions
- Are you ITAR registered?
- We are not ITAR registered. Our parent Nevatronix holds ITAR registration for controlled programs; the laser cell can run non-ITAR parts within tier-2/tier-3 defense supply chains, with ITAR-controlled work routed through the parent.
- Can you cut armor-grade steel and exotic alloys?
- Yes — within our 3 kW fiber laser capacity envelope. RHA (rolled homogeneous armor) up to ~6 mm, MIL-spec stainless grades up to 6 mm, and titanium grades 2 and 5 in standard production gauges. We document process qualification per material per program; thicker armor work routes through partner shops with higher-power lasers.
- What documentation do you provide for defense customers?
- Mill certs, in-process inspection records, first-article inspection (AS9102 format), and full lot traceability are standard. PPAP (level 2–4) on request. Process flow diagrams and control plans available for program-locked work.
- How do you handle Nellis AFB and DoD-adjacent suppliers?
- We work with several Nellis-area defense contractors as tier-2/tier-3 component suppliers. Direct DoD prime work is routed through our parent. Geographic proximity is a real advantage — most local programs ship within 24 hours of release.
