Architectural and signage laser cutting turns a design file into cut-pattern panels, dimensional letters, perforated facades, and railing components — metal that carries a brand or a building’s look rather than sitting hidden inside an enclosure. Nevatronix Laser cuts these parts in aluminum, stainless, and galvanized steel for sign shops, architectural metal fabricators, and hospitality contractors across the Southwest, on sheets up to 1500 × 3000 mm without a seam. Programs here run from a handful of prototype panels to production releases in the thousands, on the same lead times as the rest of this shop.

What tolerance do cosmetic panels need?

Cosmetic architectural work is judged on how the edge looks as much as where it lands, so both matter. Position tolerance on our flat-sheet cell is ±0.05 mm with a minimum hole diameter of 1 mm, tight enough for cut-pattern perforation and dimensional-letter geometry. Repeatability holds to ±0.025 mm across repeat panels in a set, which keeps dimensional letters and repeating perforation patterns consistent from the first panel to the last. Edge quality holds to ISO 9013 range 2 across the thickness range we cut, and nitrogen assist keeps the visible face oxide-free.

How do you handle the cosmetic face?

Protective film over the visible surface, nitrogen assist gas, and cut-from-back orientation where the geometry allows are the tools that keep a decorative face unmarred through the cut. Deburr and edge break follow, so a panel ships ready for finish or straight to install rather than needing rework on site. A prototype panel typically turns in 48 to 72 hours, so a design revision does not stall a fast-moving creative schedule.

Which materials hold up on an outdoor facade?

Material choice on an outdoor facade or sign trades corrosion life against weight and cost. Aluminum 5052 cuts to 5 mm and is the choice where weight matters; stainless steel 304 covers most outdoor exposure to 6 mm, with 316 available where the environment demands more corrosion resistance; galvanized steel cuts to 12 mm for structural or hidden facade framing, where the zinc coating does the corrosion work and a bare cut edge is acceptable. Position tolerance is the same ±0.05 mm across all three materials, so a facade mixing panel types keeps a consistent fit.

Can railing and balustrade components be cut in one setup?

Yes — round and square tube are cut on the same five-axis cell that handles frame and structural work. Round tube runs 12 to 220 mm OD for handrail and railing, and square and rectangular tube runs 15 × 15 to 200 × 200 mm for balustrade infill and framing, both up to 6.2 m long with hole patterns and weld-ready joints cut in the same pass. Hole position holds to ±0.1 mm and length to ±0.2 mm on both profiles, tight enough for balustrade posts that have to register against evenly spaced infill panels.

What size panel can you cut without a seam?

Up to 1500 × 3000 mm in a single piece — the full bed of our flat-sheet cell — which covers most facade panels and dimensional-letter sets without a seam. Edge quality holds to ISO 9013 range 2 across the full bed, not just near the cutting head’s home position. For formats larger than that, we split the panel on a hidden joint line and our sister shop welds and finishes the joint so it disappears in the installed panel.

Where cutting stops

This cell cuts and profiles flat sheet and tube — the panels, letters, facades, and railing components an architectural or signage program needs, at volumes from a single prototype panel to 50,000 pieces. It does not form, weld, powder coat, install, or engineer the supporting structure: those scopes stay with the customer’s installer, engineer, or fabricator, or run at Nevatronix Sheet Metal’s architectural and construction page, co-located with this cell.

Do you do cut-pattern designs for perforated facades?
Yes. Any CAD-defined pattern — repeating motifs, gradient densities, or a custom shape — cuts directly from the file at ±0.05 mm position tolerance, with a minimum hole diameter of 1 mm on the flat-sheet cell.
Do you form, weld, or powder coat architectural panels?
No — this cell cuts and profiles the metal only. Forming, welding, and powder coat for the same panels, railings, and facade components run at Nevatronix Sheet Metal, our co-located sister shop.
Do you install architectural metalwork or engineer the structure?
No. We build to the customer's or their engineer's qualified design and do not provide structural engineering, on-site installation, or code certification for the finished structure. Sign shops, fabricators, and contractors handle those scopes; we supply the cut and profiled metal.
